Here in Santa Fe people transform every day. It starts with just a feeling. There is an energy, something in the air that says ‘go for it, be who you are.’ Then there is the mountains everywhere you look, ten minutes away and you are climbing up them, standing on land that speaks to you. And right away you feel a calmness. Of course the sun is always shining with an energy that feeds your emotional soul. The people in Santa Fe accept you and like you just the way you are. Ask someone, anyone in Santa Fe, “what do you do?” and they will tell you three things. Case in point, I met a guy at a dinner party he is…
…a divorce lawyer, president of a horse rescue organization and a spin teacher at the gym three days a week.
I kid you not, everyone here does three things and one of them is always a life passion. So here I am in Santa Fe doing what they do. Ask me! Go ahead, ask me ‘what do I do?’ I thought you’d never ask! Ok I am…
…privileged to be a Social Media Consultant for Santa Fe Soul, a health and healing center…
…grateful to have worked with The National Dance Institute of New Mexico on their stunning gala…
…excited to be publishing my Spiritually Savvy Kids series for print and mobile media.
And of course my inner fashionista is always at work finding the latest trends and blogging about people that have ‘real style’. On the side I’m religious about my boot camp and ballet classes. And it takes some getting used to as I am a Type A New York personality who believes that you work 60 hours a week at one thing to prove that you are a Type A personality, and can make it in New York.
So I believe transformation is about finding your passion, doing what you’re good at and healing your
inner child. With no master plan except to vibrate love, enjoy everyday and never worry what tomorrow might bring.
That’s my new Santa Fe recipe for success…
